Overall campaign goals include increasing the population and talent of the Greater Peoria region, attract businesses to the area who need a talented workforce, highlight the Greater Peoria Area amenities that make it a desirable place to live, work, and play, communicate the positive quality of life attributes of the Greater Peoria area, and improve the Greater Peoria Area’s reputation in local and national circles.
Greater Peoria 2030 Initiative includes on-going training with REALTORS®, HR professionals, and area thought leaders to shed light on positive attributes of the entire Peoria Metro area.
Working together to promote the diverse, creative population-driving revitalization efforts within the communities of the Greater Peoria Area include: Discover Peoria, Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, Greater Peoria Economic Development Council, CEO Council, Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce, Morton Chamber of Commerce, East Peoria Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Development Corporation of Peoria, and PAAR.
