Marathons aren't for everybody. Unlike most exercise regimens, they require Herculean levels of patience and no small amount of will. They demand months of conditioning and reward it with a punishing, 13- or 26 mile slog. It takes a very specific devotion just to put up with the prep, let alone run the race. They can be brutal. And Suzanne Miller loves them.
